Undecimal Bio, a biotech startup founded in 2026, has secured €16 million in a seed funding round. The investment was co-led by 4BIO Capital and IQ Capital, with support from Verve Ventures, Harel Tech, Entree Capital, Kerna Ventures, and Saras Capital.
The company plans to use the capital to advance its renovascular disease programs and expand its team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. The funding will also support the further development of its proprietary DELiveri platform.
The DELiveri platform utilizes combinatorial chemistry and transformer-based AI to identify ligands that can deliver siRNA therapeutics to tissues beyond the liver. By screening large chemical libraries, the system aims to identify candidates for targeted gene silencing.
The board of directors now includes representatives from 4BIO Capital, IQ Capital, and Harel Technologies, alongside co-founders Dr. Yaniv Erlich and Shaul Ilan. Verve Ventures has joined the board as an observer.
The investment is part of a broader trend in the European biotech sector, where companies focused on RNA therapeutics and AI-driven drug discovery have raised approximately €141.9 million in 2026, including the Undecimal Bio round.
