Turbo Cloud, a provider within the Rostelecom commercial IT cluster, has launched a managed Qdrant vector database service. The offering is designed to support AI projects by handling infrastructure deployment and maintenance, allowing users to bypass manual database setup.
The Qdrant service enables semantic and hybrid search, as well as filtering by additional parameters. It supports multiple vector representations for a single object, which facilitates use cases such as RAG systems, recommendation engines, and memory storage for AI agents.
Clients manage the service through the Turbo Cloud dashboard and integrate it with applications via an API. The provider also offers technical support and consulting for custom configuration. The service is intended to function as part of the broader Rostelecom AI infrastructure ecosystem.
