Transtelecom and T8 have completed testing of the new generation Angara DWDM platform. The evaluation confirmed the equipment's compatibility with the operator's existing network infrastructure.
The testing process focused on the performance of optical multiplexers, amplifiers, and FROADM optical switching equipment. Specialists also verified the functionality of the Titan NMS centralized management system.
The Titan NMS platform allows operators to monitor network elements, configure hardware, and manage optical connections centrally across all T8 DWDM product lines.
This project builds on previous technical cooperation between the companies. Earlier, they successfully tested 400G DP-QPSK channel transmission over 1,400 km using Alien Wavelength technology.
In December 2025, the companies confirmed the feasibility of increasing network capacity by integrating high-speed Angara transponders into the existing communication infrastructure.
