Barcelona-based Titan OS has secured $46 million in a funding round comprising both equity and debt. The capital was provided by funds managed by BlackRock, as well as existing investors Highland Europe and Mangrove Capital Partners. This latest injection brings the company's total funding to $110 million, following a $58 million round last year.

The startup currently serves 30 million users, an increase from 18 million in the previous year. Its partner network now includes Sharp, AOC, Vestel, and Skyworth, while Philips has transitioned its 2026 TV models to the Titan OS platform. The company also maintains partnerships with TiVo and Tubi in specific regions.

Titan OS has expanded its workforce to 250 employees and opened a new office in London to focus on advertising operations. The company already operates offices in Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Taipei. These resources support its goal of enhancing content discovery through AI-driven interface adjustments and expanded partnerships with FAST channels.

The company aims to capitalize on the shift in the TV hardware industry, where manufacturers face rising chip costs and seek alternative revenue streams. Titan OS provides a platform for TV makers to generate income through ad-supported content and partnerships, positioning itself as an impartial alternative to ecosystems like Google TV.
