The Paris-based startup campus STATION F has announced its 2026 Future 40 cohort. This selection features 40 promising startups chosen from over 1,000 applicants, representing approximately four per cent of the campus community. The cohort has secured €110 million in funding to date, with 31 companies at the pre-seed or seed stage and two at Series A.

Notable funding rounds within the cohort include Arlequin AI with €28 million, CURA with $10 million, Cleavr with €8 million, and Lemrock with €7 million. Across all eight editions of the Future 40 program, participating companies have collectively raised €1.2 billion. The current selection focuses on AI, deeptech, robotics, and climate tech.

The broader STATION F ecosystem achieved a record €2 billion in funding in 2026, surpassing the €1.5 billion raised in 2025. Major contributions to this total came from alumni companies such as Multiverse Computing, which raised €500 million, and Alan, which secured €480 million. The campus currently supports over 1,000 startups annually.

A notable trend among the 2026 cohort is the rise of bootstrapped companies, with five startups currently operating without external funding. Founders are increasingly leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency and maintain control. Additionally, six companies in this year's selection have returned to France after participating in Y Combinator in the United States.

The campus continues to emphasize technical expertise, with 47 per cent of the teams in the new cohort including at least one PhD holder and 75 per cent consisting of repeat founders. STATION F maintains industry partnerships, including collaborations with Sanofi, Doctolib, AP-HP, and Roche, to facilitate specialized research and commercial pilot programs.
