Tesla plans to launch a European truck charging network next year, starting with 21 public locations. The infrastructure will feature over 100 megawatt charging points, with an average of five points per site. The network will cover Germany, France, the Benelux region, the UK, and Sweden.

The charging stations will utilize the MCS 3.2 standard and offer up to 1.2 MW of power. Tesla intends to make these sites accessible to trucks from other manufacturers, following the model used for its passenger vehicle network. Private charging solutions will also be available for corporate clients.

The company has priced the Basecharger at €17 000, while the Megacharger system, consisting of two satellites and a power cabinet, is listed at €163 000. Deliveries for these charging solutions are scheduled to commence in mid-2027.

The Tesla Semi for the European market is a 6x4 tractor unit equipped with three electric motors. The vehicle features a central driver seat and uses a single MCS port, with an adapter provided for CCS charging. Production for global markets currently takes place in Nevada.
