Tesla has begun rolling out the 2026.26.200.11 software update for its vehicles. The update introduces the Doubao large language model voice assistant, which requires an active premium connectivity subscription. Users can customize the assistant with different voices and roles.

New safety and convenience features include enhanced blind-spot warning lights that turn red when objects are detected, and a door-opening safety system that prevents doors from opening if an object is approaching. The update also adds a parental control mode to restrict browser, theater, and gaming access.

The navigation system now includes a 'familiar routes' function that prioritizes frequently traveled paths. Additionally, energy management is improved with a new trip tracking feature within the Energy app, and estimated range calculations now account for battery aging factors.

Multimedia capabilities have been expanded with updates to Apple Music, including queue management and library integration. Rear-seat passengers can now interact with navigation maps and view lyrics on the rear display, provided they have premium connectivity or a Wi-Fi connection.

The update includes security patches addressing vulnerabilities in the CAN bus buffer, integer underflow, and out-of-bounds access. The map data has been updated to version CN-2026.38-16231, and the traction control system now offers automatic, slippery, and off-road recovery modes.
