Tesla officially unveiled the second-generation Roadster during a special event held on October 16. The company positions the new vehicle as a top-tier model among the final generation of human-driven cars.
The vehicle features a unique propulsion system, including attitude control thrusters and a main rear thruster. According to Tesla, this configuration allows the car to lift off the ground and perform maneuvers in the air.
To enhance performance on the track, the manufacturer integrated a fan-based suction system. This technology increases downforce, enabling the Roadster to achieve lateral acceleration of up to 2g during cornering.
Tesla aims to push the boundaries of sports car performance with this model. The company intends to use the new Roadster to set new track records and demonstrate handling capabilities that challenge conventional physics.
