The Technopolis Moscow special economic zone has entered into a strategic partnership with the Brest free economic zone in Belarus. Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow, stated that the collaboration aims to establish integrated technological chains and foster joint production ventures, specifically targeting the microelectronics and instrumentation sectors.

The agreement facilitates the exchange of expertise regarding preferential management regimes and promotes joint business initiatives, including exhibitions, seminars, and trade missions. These activities are designed to assist residents in identifying new markets and reliable suppliers, while accelerating the development of new technological solutions.

The partnership also includes provisions for regular information sharing on foreign trade legislation and market trends. Both parties have committed to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises by assisting them in finding business partners. Management from both zones will hold periodic consultations to coordinate joint action plans.

Technological cooperation between the two regions is already underway. Notably, Technopolis Moscow residents collaborated with the Belarusian company Planar to develop the first Russian photolithography machine with 350-nanometer topology. Current exports from the Moscow zone to Belarus include medical devices, pharmaceuticals, composite materials, and electronic components.
