MTS has deployed an LTE network in the village of Krasnoyarovka, located in the Yakovlevsky district of Primorsky Krai. This infrastructure project provides the first-ever access to voice services and mobile internet for the local population of approximately 70 people.
The new coverage area includes residential buildings and key social facilities, such as the local medical center, library, post office, and retail store. Residents can now access remote medical services, educational resources, government portals, and banking applications.
Krasnoyarovka is situated on the left bank of the Ussuri River, 35 km from Yakovlevka, and is celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2026. The area is historically significant as it was visited by explorer Vladimir Arsenyev in 1906 and features four local hills known as Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov, and Sofia.
Evgeniya Sysoeva, director of the MTS branch in Primorsky Krai, stated that the company remains committed to expanding connectivity in remote settlements. The deployment aims to integrate these areas into a unified digital space, improving both living conditions for residents and safety for tourists.
