Swedish healthtech startup Tandem Health has secured $100 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by the EU-backed Scaleup Europe Fund, which manages €5 billion. Existing investors, including Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries, also participated in the round. This latest injection brings the company's total funding to $160 million, following a $50 million Series A round in 2025.
Tandem Health provides an AI-powered co-pilot for clinicians that generates medical notes. The platform is currently used by 10 000 care organizations across 14 European markets, with the UK serving as its largest market. The company employs approximately 170 people. According to peer-reviewed research, users of the platform report a 29 percent reduction in administrative time, alongside a 30 percent improvement in job satisfaction and stress levels.
The startup plans to use the new capital to scale its European presence and expand its product offering. The goal is to evolve from a medical assistant into an AI-native clinic operating system capable of managing patient flows and performing additional clinical tasks. This investment marks the first healthtech venture for the Scaleup Europe Fund, which is supported by the European Commission, Novo Holdings, CriteriaCaixa, and Santander.
