Mavi, an AI-powered talent marketplace founded in 2023, has officially exited stealth mode. The platform connects U.S. companies with global financial and accounting professionals who possess expertise in artificial intelligence.
The service manages the administrative complexities of international hiring, including cross-border contracts, legal compliance, and payroll. Mavi focuses on placing mid-level and senior-level talent into long-term, full-time roles to support in-house finance teams.
Co-CEO Molly Liu noted that while AI automates entry-level tasks, it creates a greater need for experienced professionals capable of applying judgment and integrating large language models into accounting workflows.
The company secured a $4 million seed round led by Harlem Capital last year. Currently, the platform hosts more than 3,000 accounting professionals and serves enterprise clients, including Athena Club.
