Swiss engineering firm werk.lab and Tesla specialist Revoltaris are modifying the Tesla Cybertruck to meet Swiss certification standards. The project aims to secure type approval for the vehicle to allow its sale as an independent import, with a potential market launch targeted for 2027.
The modifications address pedestrian safety, braking, and lighting. Developers installed a new carbon front, added foam behind the bumper, and fitted custom edge protectors to meet radius requirements. The vehicle also received additional turn signals to comply with European regulations.
Revoltaris plans to offer the All-Wheel Drive model and the Cyberbeast starting in 2027. Prices are set at approximately CHF 155 000 for the AWD version and CHF 189 000 for the Cyberbeast. Tesla is not involved in this project and provides no factory warranty for these units.
Imported vehicles will lack active integrated navigation and automatic battery pre-conditioning. Revoltaris intends to manage its own warranty and service network. Customers can reserve a slot for CHF 175 or secure a delivery position with a non-refundable payment of CHF 2 000.
