Segway unveiled the X Cruiser electric motorcycle at EICMA, featuring a roll cage, seatbelts, and automotive-style safety structures. The vehicle includes blind spot detection and lane change warnings. Segway plans to launch the model in China and Europe between 2027 and 2028.

The X Cruiser utilizes CTB battery integration for structural rigidity, targeting a range of nearly 200 km. European models will support 4.5 kW Type 2 AC charging, while Chinese versions will offer DC fast charging. The bike features 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels and a 10.25-inch TFT display.

Segway licensed specific two-wheeler intellectual property from BMW Group for the X Cruiser development. The company also introduced the Orca Concept, an electric maxi-scooter with an 800V architecture, a 20 kWh battery, and a target range of 300 km.

The company is expanding its off-road lineup with the Xaber series, including the X1000, 350, and 300 models. Segway has partnered with Michelin for its Dakar Rally Factory Team to test its electric off-road motorcycles.
