StackHawk Inc. has introduced Wingman, a tool designed to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities directly within AI-driven coding workflows. The software integrates with platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, and Antigravity. It automatically probes applications for flaws as soon as an AI agent completes a feature, allowing for immediate patching and verification before code submission.

The company reports that during an early-access phase, Wingman successfully addressed over 7,000 vulnerabilities, with a 98% success rate for the implemented repairs. By operating within the development environment, the tool aims to keep security measures aligned with the rapid pace of AI-assisted engineering teams.

Wingman is priced at $10 per user per month, which covers unlimited applications and a limit of 50 scans per user monthly. A 14-day free trial is available for new users. For organizations requiring advanced API discovery and attack-surface mapping, the tool can be integrated with the company's enterprise-level offering, StackHawk Scale.

StackHawk currently serves over 200 enterprise clients. The company is backed by venture capital, having secured $20.7 million in a funding round led by Sapphire Ventures and Costanoa Ventures in May 2022. CEO Joni Klippert emphasizes that the tool helps developers maintain code quality without requiring them to act as dedicated security engineers.
