SpaceX has launched a special support program for residents of Cameron County, Texas, where the company's headquarters is located. The initiative provides a 50% discount on the monthly subscription fee for Starlink Residential users.
New customers in the designated area will also receive the Starlink hardware kit for free, as the initial equipment fee has been waived. The discount applies to service addresses within the program's coverage zone.
Existing users will see the price reduction applied automatically in their next billing cycle. The lower rate will remain in effect as long as the service address stays within the eligible territory.
The company stated that this program aims to support the local community in the Rio Grande Valley, where thousands of SpaceX employees and their families live and work on the Starship project.
