Sony has reintroduced its WH-1000XM4 headphones as the updated WH-1000XM4C model. The device retains the original folding design and QN1 processing chip but adds a lavender color option. Technical updates include support for Bluetooth 6, a 10-band EQ, and a gaming preset in the companion app.
The battery life for the new model is rated at 27 hours with ANC enabled, compared to the 30 hours of the original version. The headphones will be available later this fall at a price of $300. Alongside this release, Sony updated its midrange and entry-level lines with the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 models.
The WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 now feature a 10-band EQ and a volume-limiting safe mode. The CH730N model offers 50 hours of battery life with ANC and a folding design, while the CH530 provides 55 hours of playback. These models are priced at $180 and $70 respectively.
Sony also announced a partnership with Hello Kitty. Limited-edition bundles featuring the WH-1000XM6, WH-CH730N, or WH-CH530 headphones, along with branded accessories, will be sold exclusively through the company's website later this year.
