Solink Corp., a company specializing in video intelligence, has secured over $100 million in a new funding round. The investment brings the total capital raised by the Ottawa-based firm to more than $198 million. The company plans to use these funds to advance its AI vision intelligence roadmap, aimed at helping businesses extract data from existing security camera infrastructure.
The funding round was led by the Toronto-based private equity firm Vertu Capital. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. also participated significantly through its Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives arm, having previously led a $60 million Series C round in July 2023. New investors in the company include Golub Growth and Comcast Ventures.
Founded in 2009, Solink provides cloud video surveillance software that integrates with cameras used by retailers, restaurants, and warehouse operators. Currently, the platform processes data from approximately 500,000 cameras across more than 35,000 locations in 65 countries. The company does not require proprietary hardware for its services.
In February, Solink introduced AI agents designed for loss prevention and perimeter security that operate on edge devices. Additionally, the company integrated vision language models into its VerifEye command center in March to reduce false alarms for security operations centers. Solink did not disclose its current valuation.
