The police department in the Indian state of Bihar has placed an order for 1,100 electric motorcycles to be used for patrolling. The contract was awarded to Revolt Motors, a domestic manufacturer, with deliveries scheduled to take place in the state capital, Patna.

While the official deadline for the delivery is January 2027, Revolt Motors intends to complete the shipment by the end of November 2026. The police force selected the BlazeX model, which is priced at ₹134,990 per unit, excluding additional costs for registration and insurance.

The BlazeX motorcycle is equipped with a 4.1 kW mid-mounted motor from Sona Comstar and a 3.24 kWh battery pack using CATL cells. The vehicle reaches a top speed of 150 km/h and offers a range of 150 kilometers according to the Indian Driving Cycle.

The battery requires 4 hours and 45 minutes for a full charge, though it can be removed for charging at standard power outlets. Since its market entry in August 2019, Revolt Motors has delivered over 60,000 electric motorcycles across India.
