Salesforce has partnered with Nvidia to launch Koa, an AI model designed for reasoning over CRM data. Built on Nvidia’s Nemotron architecture, the model was trained using a synthetic dataset derived from 27 years of internal CRM deployment experience across 14 industries, including healthcare and finance.

The company utilized supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and group relative policy optimization to improve the model's accuracy in executing multistep tasks. Benchmark tests indicate that Koa performs on par with or better than general-purpose models, with three times fewer errors in CRM-related workflows.

Koa is currently available to select customers through a pilot program within the Agentforce platform, with a general release scheduled for winter. The model operates within Salesforce's trust boundaries, ensuring that customer data remains within a controlled environment during inference.

Additionally, Salesforce is integrating Nvidia’s Nemotron models into its Missionforce Operations platform. This rollout, set for October, will allow customers in regulated sectors to deploy AI models within private clouds and air-gapped networks to automate sensitive back-office processes.
