The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics opened in Bamako, Mali, on September 21, 2026. This facility is the first full-cycle Russian high-tech project in West Africa, developed by the Robotics Corporation, which is part of the AFK Sistema group.

The project was commissioned by the Malian company OUAGADOU SARL, with Eidos Robotics serving as the general contractor. The center is designed as a national hub for training engineering personnel and integrating new technologies into local industry and education.

The laboratory infrastructure includes industrial and collaborative robots, training cells, a server cluster for neural network training, and equipment for computer vision and prototyping. The facility is equipped with 250 workstations and 100 laptops, all featuring software localized for French-speaking users.

The center provides a foundation for regional technological development. Following the launch, the facility will begin training staff, with the first cohort of specialists expected to graduate in the second quarter of 2027.
