Rosatom hosted its fifth annual IT conference, IT KoR, in Nizhny Novgorod from October 29 to 30. The event took place at the Mayak Academy and brought together representatives from the state corporation, regional government, and technical universities.

The conference featured panel discussions on the IT market, the impact of artificial intelligence on industry needs, and sovereign AI models. Experts emphasized the necessity of closer collaboration between enterprises and universities to align educational programs with production requirements.

A key highlight was the student case laboratory competition, which covered five areas: information security, system administration, 1C development, machine learning with Python, and web development. Following the results, 100 students received preliminary job offers from Rosatom.

The event also marked the international expansion of the festival, involving participants from Russia and India. An international hackathon is scheduled for December 4–5 in India, where participants will also have the opportunity to secure positions within the company.
