Project Eleven, a New York-based firm focused on quantum-resistant blockchain infrastructure, has acquired Riva Labs. The deal aims to accelerate the development of post-quantum cryptographic solutions for digital assets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition integrates Riva Labs' expertise in post-quantum signatures, multi-party computation (MPC), and wallet infrastructure into Project Eleven. The team will focus on securing assets against potential quantum computing threats, such as the use of Shor’s algorithm to derive private keys from public ones.
Founded in October 2024, Project Eleven has previously collaborated with the Solana Foundation and Ripple. The company has raised a total of $26 million across two funding rounds, including a $6 million seed round in June 2025 and a $20 million Series A in January 2026.
The Series A round brought the company's post-money valuation to $120 million, with backing from investors including Castle Island Ventures and Coinbase Ventures. Riva Labs' previous experience with Ethereum deployments is expected to support the network's long-term quantum resistance roadmap.
