Palantir executive Louis Mosley stated on October 22, 2026, that neither the company nor the US government has the capability to remotely disable the Maven Smart System used by NATO.

The platform, which aggregates battlefield data to support military decision-making, reached full technical operational capability in June 2026.

NATO finalized the purchase of the system in March 2025 following a six-month procurement process. The contract for the project was valued at €480 million.

Despite the deployment, France and Germany have declined to adopt the Maven system for their national militaries, citing concerns regarding dependence on American technology.
