Arke Telekom, a developer of defense and communication technologies, has raised €1 million in a funding round led by ACT Venture Partners. The venture capital firm specializes in deeptech investments and will support the startup's international expansion efforts.

The company focuses on communication solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically for use in environments with electronic warfare, signal jamming, or satellite navigation issues. Their core product, ArkeLink, utilizes software-defined radio combined with a self-forming and self-healing mesh network architecture.

The ArkeLink system is designed to automatically reroute communication paths when individual links are disrupted. According to co-founder and CTO Barış Karadeniz, the technology aims to provide jam-resistant connectivity in a compact and scalable format suitable for various unmanned platforms.

Arke Telekom has been selected for the NATO DIANA accelerator program, which grants the company access to testing facilities and international industry networks. CEO and co-founder Dr. Saygun Önay stated that the new capital will help introduce the technology to global markets.

While the primary market for ArkeLink is the defense sector, the company identifies potential applications in search and rescue, disaster response, public safety, and critical infrastructure management. The funding will also support the expansion of the product portfolio.
