The ORS SE search engine, developed by the Russian IT company ORS, has been officially included in the Unified Register of Russian Software. The entry, recorded under number 35530, was approved by the expert council at the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

The software is designed to manage search request traffic and reduce the load on airline host systems. By utilizing multi-level caching, ORS SE handles high volumes of requests regarding tariffs and seat availability, which helps airlines lower their look-to-book ratio and associated processing costs.

The platform provides agents with direct access to airline host data, facilitating faster searches for flights, connections, and fare classes. It supports various travel types, including direct and connecting flights, and offers filtering options based on transit airports, layover times, and flexible date ranges.

According to Igor Konstantinov, Commercial Director at ORS, the solution addresses the challenge of uncontrolled growth in search queries that impacts unit economics. By optimizing traffic, the tool aims to improve conversion rates and protect the profitability of airlines and their distribution partners.
