OriginalVoices, a startup building a platform for human-generated data, secured £1 million in a pre-seed round. The investment was led by the venture capital firm Iona Star.
The company provides AI systems with access to real-time human opinions and preferences. Instead of synthetic data, the platform utilizes a network of digital twins managed by actual individuals.
Users create and train their digital twins through the consumer application Twineo. Since the launch in December 2025, the startup has accumulated tens of thousands of digital twin profiles.
The firm has also established a partnership with YouGov to launch a joint product called YouGov Parallax. This tool integrates YouGov's panel data with the digital twin infrastructure.
The raised capital will support team expansion, technology development, and the growth of the digital twin network. OriginalVoices intends to scale its customer base with a focus on the US market.
