OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone, potentially the OnePlus Ace 7, by the end of October. According to reports from Digital Chat Station, the device will feature a dual-channel cooling system equipped with a fan. This setup is designed to simultaneously cool the processor area and the rear panel of the device, utilizing two distinct airflow channels.

The cooling technology incorporates proprietary OnePlus patents, an AI-managed temperature sensor, and design elements inspired by desktop graphics cards. The company claims these measures address common issues such as noise levels and dust ingress. The system aims to allow the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip to match the performance levels of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

Preliminary specifications for the upcoming model suggest a 9000 mAh battery and a 200-megapixel camera. The device is also expected to include water resistance. Industry insiders suggest that the advanced cooling capabilities may give this smartphone a competitive edge in gaming performance over other devices running the more powerful Extreme chip without active cooling.
