Nvidia has released version 1.6.1 of its RTX Remix platform, introducing significant updates to its AI-driven modding tools. The update integrates DLSS 5 with 3D-guided neural rendering, offering up to 6x multi-frame generation for GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. Additionally, the platform now provides native support for Windows on ARM and enhanced AI workflows through ComfyUI 2.0 integration.

A key feature of the 1.6 release is the experimental support for Minecraft Java Edition. A new Fabric-based mod brings path tracing, reflections, shadows, and global illumination to version 1.21.1 of the game. Nvidia notes that this feature is in early testing, and users may encounter visual or performance issues with specific blocks and game mechanics.

The update also includes performance optimizations for AMD GPU users. By utilizing the TraceRay implementation on Windows with the 26.6.4 driver, users can see a performance increase of approximately 20 percent. According to community reports, frame rates improved from 53 FPS to 63 FPS, though results may vary depending on individual hardware configurations and specific game titles.
