Simplismart, an AI startup based in Bengaluru, has secured $14 million in a new funding round. The investment values the four-year-old company at approximately $100 million. Dallas Venture Capital led the round, with participation from Nvidia, Accel, Shastra VC, and Micromax.

The startup develops software designed to optimize AI model inference, allowing businesses to run workloads more efficiently and often on fewer GPUs. The platform is hardware-agnostic, supporting large language models, visual recognition, and speech processing across various infrastructure configurations.

Simplismart, also known as Verute Technologies Pvt Ltd, was founded in 2022 and maintains offices in Bengaluru and San Francisco. The company currently serves dozens of enterprise clients, including Tata 1mg and InVideo, with revenue growing from the low single-digit millions.

The collaboration between Nvidia and Simplismart dates back to the startup's participation in the Nvidia Inception Program. The two companies have previously worked together on inference microservices, despite Simplismart's focus on reducing the total compute resources required for AI operations.
