Nvidia and Palantir have announced a partnership to deploy artificial intelligence for supply chain management. The initiative will debut by optimizing Nvidia's internal operations, which involve millions of components and thousands of suppliers. For instance, a single Vera Rubin rack consists of 1.3 million parts.

The solution integrates Nvidia's Nemotron models into the Palantir Foundry platform. This allows businesses to fine-tune AI using proprietary operational data. Nvidia cuOpt is utilized for scenario planning and optimization, enabling the system to identify bottlenecks, accelerate material allocation, and assess alternatives.

The platform is designed to learn from decision outcomes, improving its performance over time. It supports deployment on private hardware or in the cloud via the Sovereign AI OS reference architecture. Infrastructure partners for this rollout include Dell, Cisco, Rackspace, and Nebius.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp advocates for companies to maintain control over their own models rather than relying on third-party providers. Further details regarding the collaboration are being presented at the AIPCon 11 event.
