NPK Atronik has developed a Trusted Onboard Computing Platform (BDVP) designed for autonomous robotics and aviation systems. The solution aims to reduce reliance on foreign components and comply with the requirements of Russian Government Decree No. 1701, which mandates secure data transmission and storage for unmanned aerial systems.
The platform features an AI performance of up to 32 TOPS and includes a certified hardware module for cryptographic information protection (SKZI) at the KS3 class. It supports secure storage for up to 32 GB of user software. The system utilizes a modular architecture based on SMARC standards, which allows for the integration of various ARM processors, including MCP1502, MCP1503, and MCP1504 models.
By adopting the SMARC format, developers can reduce the time required to create specialized computing units from 12 months to 3 months. The platform is compatible with multiple operating systems, including Debian, Astra Linux, Alt Linux, and the Neutrino RTOS. It also supports expansion modules such as Hailo-8 and DeepX neural accelerators.
The platform is intended for use in aviation, rail, and maritime transport sectors. It provides hardware-level encryption for communication channels and video streams, as well as the ability to log legally significant events using qualified electronic signatures. This development is positioned as a domestic alternative to hardware like Raspberry Pi and Nvidia Jetson.
