Nirva Labs has secured $25 million in a new funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $33 million. The company previously completed an $8 million seed round. The latest investment will support the company through its product launch and future hardware development.
The startup is developing AI-powered jewelry, including necklaces and bracelets, designed to track daily patterns and provide emotional insights via a companion app. The devices are crafted from materials such as silver, gold, and onyx. They integrate with mobile calendars, location data, and Apple Health.
Orders for the wearable devices are scheduled to open in November, with a retail price of approximately $249. The company expects to begin shipping the first units by the end of the year. The hardware is designed to function as jewelry even when the battery is depleted.
Based in San Francisco, Nirva Labs currently employs a team of about 20 people. The company is actively hiring engineers, product designers, and marketing professionals to scale its operations. The business is backed by investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners and South Park Commons.
