Nio is preparing to reach a new milestone for its third-generation ES8 electric SUV, with the 160,000th vehicle delivery scheduled for this week. This achievement comes approximately one month after the company recorded its 150,000th delivery on September 20, marking the first anniversary of the model's market launch.

The ES8 remains a critical component of Nio's sales performance. In September, the model recorded 10,546 deliveries, which accounted for 49.47 percent of the main brand's total volume. Over the first nine months of the year, the ES8 lineup reached 110,494 deliveries, representing 60.71 percent of the main brand's sales and 36.79 percent of the company's total across all three brands.

To broaden its market reach, Nio introduced a five-seat configuration for the ES8 on July 9, supplementing the existing six- and seven-seat options. The five-seat model launched with a starting price of ¥382 800, or ¥274 800 under the battery-as-a-service subscription model. Additionally, the company recently launched a new wheel package priced at ¥25 800 for the entry-level variant.
