Stellantis and Leapmotor have commenced series production of the B10 electric SUV at the Figueruelas plant in Zaragoza, Spain. The facility, which currently manufactures the Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208, and Lancia Ypsilon, is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 40,000 units for the B10 model.
The B10 is a 4.51-meter SUV equipped with LFP batteries of 56.2 or 67.1 kWh. The top-tier version offers 168 kW of power and a WLTP range of 434 kilometers. In Germany, the base price is €32,900, while Austrian customers can access a promotional price of €28,990 until the end of the year.
The partnership plans to expand production in Zaragoza. By 2027, the plant is scheduled to begin manufacturing the B05, B03X, and B03 models. Additionally, Opel and Leapmotor are collaborating on a new electric SUV, slated for production at the same site starting in 2028, with Leapmotor providing the powertrain and battery technology.
Stellantis maintains a 20 percent stake in Leapmotor and a 51 percent share in the Leapmotor International joint venture. The brand currently operates a network of over 1,020 sales locations across 36 European countries and established its first non-Chinese R&D center in Munich in March.
