Nio has introduced the EC6 Aura Edition, a new variant of its coupe SUV featuring a purple-themed design. The vehicle is equipped with a 100-kWh battery pack and is currently available for order, with deliveries starting immediately.
The purchase price for the full vehicle starts at ¥369 800. Under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) plan, the starting price is ¥261 800, with a monthly battery rental fee of ¥1 128. This pricing is ¥10 000 higher than the base EC6 model.
The Aura Edition includes exclusive exterior features such as matte metallic gray trim, 21-inch black wheels, and purple brake calipers. The interior is accented with purple stitching, seat belts, and embossed headrests, alongside a specialized infotainment theme.
Nio is offering promotional incentives for orders locked in by September 30, including zero-down-payment financing and complimentary upgrades for a streaming rearview mirror and a zero-gravity seat. Customers choosing the battery rental plan receive six months of free rental.
In August 2026, the EC6 recorded 322 deliveries, marking a 71.93% year-on-year decline. Cumulative deliveries for the first eight months of 2026 reached 3 873 units, representing 1.47% of Nio's total deliveries for the period.
