MWS Tables has introduced an AI assistant, accessible via a button in the bottom right corner of the interface. The tool is designed to analyze existing data, create tables, establish relationships between them, write formulas, and generate views based on user prompts.
The assistant can perform complex data analysis, such as identifying overdue requests based on specific criteria and calculating costs per department. In tests, the AI took approximately two minutes to process complex multi-step analytical queries.
Beyond analysis, the assistant functions as an agent capable of modifying table structures. It can automatically add calculated fields, create new entities like an equipment catalog, and link data across different tables. It also supports the creation of synchronized views, such as calendars.
The system includes a safety mechanism that requests user confirmation before applying structural changes to the database. Users are advised to verify the AI's output, as the platform includes standard warnings regarding potential hallucinations.
