MTS has expanded its mobile network coverage and increased internet speeds in the city of Semenov, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The company achieved these improvements by optimizing its existing network infrastructure and upgrading hardware equipment.
The network modernization has eliminated previous coverage gaps and provided stable signals in key public areas. Improved connectivity is now available at the Semenov Central District Hospital, the perinatal center, the central park, and the local history and art museum.
According to Sergey Vorozhtsov, technical director of MTS in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the upgrade includes the implementation of VoLTE technology. This update aims to provide clearer voice calls and faster internet access for both local residents and tourists visiting the area.
