MTS Link has updated its AI assistant to transcribe and summarize meetings held on third-party video conferencing platforms. Users can access these materials directly within their personal MTS Link account dashboard.
The process uses the MTS Link desktop application to record audio locally on the user's computer. This method avoids the need for external bots, meaning no additional participants appear in the meeting list during the session.
Processed recordings are stored in the 'Past' section of the platform. The AI generates a full transcript with speaker identification, a summary of key points, and a list of tasks assigned to specific individuals.
In addition to live recording, users can upload existing audio or video files in WAV or MP4 formats for transcription. The system accepts files up to 2 GB in size with no restrictions on the total duration of the recording.
Future updates will expand these capabilities to include offline meetings. The company plans to integrate this functionality into its mobile application and software for conference rooms, centralizing all records in one place.
