MTS has upgraded its telecommunications infrastructure in Ust-Bolsheretsk, a key fishing hub in the Kamchatka region. The project involved the installation of a new base station and the modernization of the existing network to improve service stability.

The technical enhancements include increased bandwidth and improved mobile internet coverage across the village and surrounding areas. These upgrades now support dozens of tourist facilities, recreational bases, and local social infrastructure.

The network expansion enables residents and visitors to utilize modern digital services, including VoLTE technology. This feature allows users to maintain internet connectivity while simultaneously engaging in voice calls.

Ust-Bolsheretsk serves as a major center for the Pacific salmon industry and attracts significant tourism due to its proximity to the Kuril Lake. The area hosts various regional events, such as the salmon festival.
