Moselektroshchit, a member of the NEC group, has completed a project to transition its infrastructure to Russian-made software. The initiative covers over 400 workstations, which are now integrated into a new information security perimeter designed to mitigate external cyber threats.

The project focused on upgrading security systems, including the implementation of data backup, cryptography, and comprehensive antivirus protection. The company selected software solutions from Kaspersky and Cyberprotect to secure its physical servers, virtualization platforms, and workstations.

X-Com Group served as the contractor for the project. According to Nikolay Shemyakin, CEO of Moselektroshchit, the company has been collaborating with X-Com for three years to replace foreign software with domestic alternatives listed in the Ministry of Digital Development registry.

Nikolay Fatnev, head of the software department at X-Com, noted that there is a growing demand among clients for registry-compliant software. The transition aims to ensure technological independence and the continuity of production processes amid increasing external cyber risks.
