Mistlabs Ltd. has officially launched its Ambi artificial intelligence system for Apple devices, exiting the beta phase. The company secured $26 million in a Pre-A funding round led by Luminous Ventures and Huaqin Technology Co. Ltd. The capital will support the development of a proprietary wearable device designed to provide the AI with additional context regarding user surroundings.
The Ambi system functions by processing audio data from iPhones, Apple Watches, and Macs to learn user preferences and work habits. The software synchronizes tasks across multiple devices, allowing agents to perform actions such as real-time fact-checking during meetings or drafting proposals. Users maintain control over the system through defined permissions, with audio storage disabled by default.
The company plans to introduce agent-to-agent negotiation capabilities in the coming months, enabling AI assistants to identify overlapping priorities between users during joint meetings. Mistlabs is currently accepting sign-ups for a waitlist for its upcoming wearable hardware, which is expected to launch later this year. The system is now compatible with Macs and devices running iOS 18.
