Mikron, Russia's largest microelectronics manufacturer, has pledged a significant portion of its real estate and equipment to secure loans totaling over 11.6 ₽ billion. The company utilized these funds primarily to refinance older debt obligations dating back to 2019, 2021, and 2022.
The collateral includes 23 real estate properties with a valuation of 2.37 ₽ billion, along with additional non-residential premises valued at 127.5 ₽ million. These assets support credit lines maturing between 2029 and 2031, with one facility specifically designated for an investment project.
Beyond bank financing, Mikron relies on its parent group, Element, for liquidity. In January 2026, the company secured a loan of 380 ₽ million from Element to repay debts to the Industrial Development Fund and bolster working capital. Element has also provided guarantees totaling 585 ₽ million.
Financial performance for 2025 shows the company incurred a loss, resulting in a decision by shareholders to forgo dividend payments. Mikron is currently part of the Element group and is slated for integration into the newly formed United Microelectronics Company, which is backed by a planned investment of 1.1 ₽ trillion.
