Microsoft has introduced a new feature in the latest Windows 11 preview build, version 26340.9767, which allows users to manage Microsoft 365 subscriptions directly within the operating system. The update enables users to reactivate automatic renewals through the Settings app, account pages, and the Start menu, eliminating the need to visit a separate website.

This functionality is currently being rolled out in batches to users who have previously disabled automatic renewals for their Microsoft 365 subscriptions. By integrating these controls into the system interface, Microsoft aims to simplify the subscription management process for its customers while increasing the visibility of its services within the Windows environment.

The introduction of this feature follows a recent adjustment to Microsoft 365 storage policies, where the OneDrive storage limit for Family and Premium plans was reduced from 6TB to 2TB. While there is no confirmed link between the storage policy change and the new subscription management tool, the update remains in the experimental testing phase and is not guaranteed to reach the final version of Windows 11.
