Microsoft has released a collection of 10 commemorative wallpapers to mark the 12th anniversary of the Windows Insider Program. The initiative, which began in 2014 alongside the first public preview of Windows 10, allows enthusiasts and IT professionals to test pre-release software and provide feedback to the company.

The new set includes five distinct designs, each available in both light and dark modes. The visuals incorporate color gradients and draw inspiration from the latest Surface design language, maintaining a more minimalist aesthetic compared to the default Windows 11 wallpapers.

The company clarified that the WIP12 designation used in the file names refers exclusively to the 12th anniversary of the program. Microsoft explicitly noted that this naming convention does not indicate any plans for the release of a Windows 12 operating system.
