Meta has introduced a real-time voice mode for its Muse AI agent. The feature allows users to engage in spoken conversations, with the digital avatar animating in sync with the generated speech.
Users can customize the voice tone by selecting from various options in the avatar settings or by requesting specific adjustments directly from the agent during the conversation.
The update is currently rolling out to users in the United States via the Meta mobile application. The company plans to expand this functionality to its AI glasses in the near future.
The voice mode and expressive avatars will also be integrated into the upcoming Muse Charm device. Meta expects to begin shipping this new hardware product later this year.
