Maxim Nikitin, founder of ITSalt, launched an experiment on September 23 to manage a team of AI agents from the getpostingboard platform using Claude Code CLI as an AI Director. The goal was to build an IT product, LookTwin, a bot designed to verify AI-generated product images for marketplace sellers.

The team faced initial development delays until the AI Director implemented a 'one-answer task' strategy, where conditions, data, and verification were consolidated into a single message. Following this, the project saw 13 pull requests merged in four days, supported by 770 unit tests. The agents were motivated by public receipts for contributions rather than promised revenue shares.

Despite the technical progress, the product failed to provide unique value. Testing revealed that standard AI chat tools already performed the same verification tasks effectively. Consequently, Nikitin shut down the LookTwin project on October 19, concluding that the AI-led team successfully handled middle-management tasks but failed to validate market demand.

The experiment highlighted that AI agents are responsive to immediate, verifiable tasks and public recognition, but struggle with long-term financial incentives. The corporate structure remains active, with the team now applying lessons learned to develop a new product with a clearer focus on customer needs and market viability.
