London-based healthtech startup Lottie has acquired CareMaster, a provider of care billing software with 25 years of market experience. This deal marks the second software acquisition for Lottie, following its purchase of the CRM platform Found in 2022.

CareMaster currently serves nearly 75 care providers across more than 750 locations in the UK. Lottie plans to integrate this customer base into its Found platform, which has grown from supporting fewer than 100 locations in 2022 to nearly 2,500 services by the end of 2026.

The company aims to leverage AI to automate administrative tasks, specifically focusing on billing, payments, and credit control. Lottie expects the combined platforms to support £3 billion in annual invoicing for care providers by the first half of 2027.

This target represents a significant increase from the current volume of over £1 billion and a projected £2 billion by the end of 2026. Beyond the UK market, Lottie is preparing for international expansion and further development of its AI-native tools.
