The Russian social network Looky has introduced new promotional features for brands, allowing businesses to integrate online stores directly into their profiles. Companies can now display product catalogs, enabling users to browse items and proceed to purchase without leaving the platform.

Current partners utilizing these features include Splat, cryo.me, Marrakech, and Urban Nature. The system supports automatic updates for product information and inventory. Brands can connect their stores via XML feeds or direct marketplace integrations, while those without dedicated websites can organize products into folders with external payment links.

Looky has also introduced a verified 'Brand' status, which grants posts increased visibility in the platform's recommendation feed. This update aims to transform the social network into a comprehensive channel for both content marketing and direct customer interaction.

These platform updates coincide with the implementation of Federal Law No. 289-FZ, which took effect on October 1, 2026. The legislation establishes new regulatory frameworks for interactions between entrepreneurs and digital platforms, including social networks and marketplaces, further emphasizing the role of digital channels in business operations.
