Valencia-based energy management startup Linkener has secured €7.5 million in a funding round led by the Klima Energy Transition Fund, with continued participation from existing shareholder GoHub Ventures. The company plans to utilize these funds to accelerate the development of its proprietary technology and artificial intelligence models, which are designed to automate energy data processing and bill analysis.

Founded in 2011, Linkener provides an Intelligent Energy Management System that utilizes remote metering to help businesses track consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities. The company currently serves over 2,000 customers, managing 10,000 energy supply points and 1.7 TWh of energy annually. Its engineering division has also completed more than 400 solar PV and battery storage projects across Spain.

The startup intends to pursue growth through both organic development and strategic acquisitions. By integrating new products and companies, Linkener aims to expand its commercial capabilities and establish a leading technology platform for energy management. The company highlights that its digital solutions can enable businesses in the services sector to achieve energy cost savings of approximately 20 percent.
